Navy News, the
newspaper of the Royal Navy since 1954, has a monthly circulation
of around 60,000 - almost double the present serving Navy - and
a world-wide readership far in excess of a quarter of a million.
Ex-pat communities and ex-Service Associations use
its columns to keep in touch with present developments and old shipmates,
while foreign embassies and Press Correspondents scan its pages,
regularly picking up items they have missed through the usual lines
of communication.
Every month it features RN operations, developments
in ships and naval aviation, organisational changes, charitable
works, sports, historical features, book and film reviews, reflecting
the wide range of its readership appeal.
In 2003, Navy News won its third Plain English Campaign
Award in seven years. Since it first entered the British Association
of Industrial Editors (now Communicators in Business) annual competition
in 1972 it has won a total of 112 awards without missing a single
year - a unique achievement.
In November 1999 Navy News launched its own website,
Navy News Online. In its first few years it has created a great
deal of attention, excitement and interest from browers and advertisers
throughout the world.
Navy News is confident that with the implementation
of Navy News Online, we are moving into a new and even more successful
future. Your company should be part of this.
Our advertising team is waiting for your call and
we can assure you that the same standards of customer care which
have been applied over the years will continue. Your best interests
are our prime concern. Let us help you to make the most of your
company, its products or services.
