The Royal Navy’s swimming
squads have enjoyed a successful year against the other Services
– and among the most notable achievements was that of
their oldest relay team, which has set a new British record.
The 2003 Inter-Services 10
and 25 Mile Time Trial cycling championships, incorporating
the Royal Navy championships, saw Royal Navy records set by
two different riders.
The Rugby Football Union have
just announced that Royal Navy referee Lt Cdr Geraint Ashton
Jones has been selected for the elite Zurich Premiership Panel.
The Royal Navy’s golf
season has closed with the premier event of the year –
and the women’s team came close to grabbing the glory,
