Commander Andrew Jackman left his post as Commanding Officer of the Special Communications Unit at HMS Collingwood in supersonic style when staff built a (not particularly faithful) mock-up of the fabled Concorde airliner.

In three challenging years in charge of the unit, Cdr Jackman has seen it move to new premises at the Fareham training establishment.
