HMS Edinburgh D97: Craig is trying to organise a reunion not just for those of HMS Edinburgh but for all of the ships of the Stanavforlant Fleet from July to December 1989. The tentative dates chosen are July 28/30 2009. This will be exactly 20 years from the time our fleet was in the Gent haven and directly follows a big, 10-day festival in Gent. This way, anyone turning this into a real vacation could arrive early and enjoy this. The 3 days of the event itself would allow for two tours as provided by the Royal Belgian Navy and the City of Gent, a Family-Style BBQ complete with softball and volleyball and a Gala evening.
