Richmond Celebrates with a CSE Show
15.12.04

By way of light relief after almost six months away, the Combined Services Entertainment (CSE) Show swung into town in Caracas, Venezuela, to help the Ship's Company celebrate a successful Deployment. The band Top Cat were introduced to the Ship's 227 flight Lynx also called "Top Cat", and played a succession of top tracks during their set. The show, a resounding success, was compered by Comedian Rudi Lickwood and included Comedian/Magician John Archer and the CSE Dancers.

After a long and very full Deployment Venezuela gave the opportunity for the advanced leave party to return home. The rest of us will keep things going for a while as the advanced party are due to rejoin the ship when we return to Portsmouth. This will give the rest of us the chance to proceed straight on leave as soon as we get alongside.

As Richmond heads for home across the Atlantic, all eyes turn to preparing for some leave.
