HMS Dipper (P30) taken from the Germans as a reparation end of WW2. Ran out of Port Edgar as a diving tender until late 50's. 12 crew including the Skipper. Lt.Cdr Malbon RNVR, and Lt.Cdr.C.W.Powell. HMS Dryad/HMS Pembroke: John (Fergie) Ferguson was in the RN between 1950 and 62. His ÔmateÕ was Ted Elmes who came from the East End of London and was at that time an ardent fan of West Ham FC. HMS Duchess: Seeking members of the racing whalers crew of HMS Duchess, from Malta 1956-57 ( Suez). Stroke - Ox Elliot, Tony 'Lofty' Otton rowed at second stroke. They were Hamilton Cup winners and small ships "Cock of The Fleet". Their local pub was "The Golden Flea" (Barbary Coast). Any Information, especially a crew photo would be greatly appreciated.
