Ex-WO Mike Hancock RAF is seeking an old school mate, Nigel Keates. They left Chichester High school in they mid to late sixties, Nigel joined the RN and Mike the RAF. HMS Hermes: Ed Morris is seeking Brian Aherne Ferguson. He served in the RN for 25 years and was in Hermes during the Falklands conflict of 1982. He would now be around 59/60 and was married to Mary. He worked for Dairy Crest in Peterborough 1990/98 and was last known to be living in a caravan at Holbeach, Cambs in 1999. Raymond Hull: Julie Hopwood is tracing her family tree and has a photo with the name Raymond Hull. He is wearing a Royal Naval chefs uniform and on the back it is date stamped March 1956. He looks about 20 years of age. The photo was taken by Jerome Ltd in Leeds. If anybody has any information about him, she would like to find out where he belongs in the family tree? HMS Hecla: Trying to trace Derek "Geordie" Ferguson (wife’s name Nula) who 'Ali' Barber served with on HMS Hecla in 1969-70, he was then an AB-SR3 (or 2). Rumour has it that when he was demobed in the mid 70's, he joined Northumberland Police, but have been unable to confirm this through a contact in the force. Other Serving SR’s (apart from self) on Hecla at the time were "Whity" Whiting, "Taff" Bruford and Roy "Champs" Champion. HMS Hermes: Looking for Bob Slimmon, Pusser Hill who were on the Hermes in Barrow-in Furness 1959 to see if they are the same guys that Terry Waiting knew on other ships even though he was on the Hermes in the supply Branch at the same time. They had listed themselves on a web site that is not responsive. During his Navy days from 1951 to 1961, he was on many ships as a Jack Dusty and would welcome hearing from anyone who recalls serving with him during that period. Contact Terry

: Were you shipmates of Edwin Varta (aka Marra), a stoker at Hornet and on MTBŐs 764 and 5007 between 1944-6, also ML 165 engaged on Air Sea Rescue. Contact Edwin via his neice Marjorie

David Haggart is seeking old shipmates from his time in HMS Ariadne and HMS Battleaxe (1976-81).

Michael (Mick) Hewitt: Ex-RO1(T) who served on Hermes approx. 1975 to 1977. He married an Australian girl and emigrated to Australia in about 1983. I have lost touch with Mick and would like to try and re-establish contact with him. I believe he is living in one of the major cities on the South coast of Australia. His family used to live in Lewes, Sussex, but unfortunately I no longer have their address. If anyone knows of his whereabouts, please contact Paul Fewtrell

George Gray Scotland was CPO aboard HMS Hecla during WWII. If anyone has any information about him and his career on this and other ships, his son would be very pleased to receive it. Contact JohnScotland
